About the role

The Weigh and Dispense Supervisor oversees the Weigh and Dispense team, ensuring cGMP and cGDP compliance, and maintaining a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Schedules, prepares, and kitches consumable and raw materials for cGMP process execution.
  • Maintains cGMP and cGDP compliance, adhering to ALCOA principles.
  • Maintains a safe and welcoming work environment, leading 5S strategy solutions.
  • Ensures the safe and efficient use of company resources, including powered industrial vehicles.
  • Executes and documents weigh and dispense processing steps in associated logbooks and paper records.
  • Acts as an SME for weigh and dispense activities, including transport and tech transfer.
  • Evaluates goods issuance, receipt, and transfer in ERP systems like SAP and PASX.
  • Attends advanced training to enhance proficiency in supply chain and manufacturing activities.
  • Leads department GEMBA and safety walks.
  • Operates and maintains general production equipment, including flow hood, floor scale, and analytical scale.
  • Performs daily cleaning and sanitization, and cycle counts and reconciles inventory.
  • Resolves cycle count and inventory discrepancies with corrective actions.
  • Collaborates with intercompany departments and supports continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED with 8+ years of relevant manufacturing experience, or associate degree with 6+ years, or bachelor's degree with 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Advanced understanding of cGMP practices and equipment operation.
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and solve problems effectively.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proactive problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • Basic materials management experience.
  • Ability to stand and sit for long periods, perform repetitive motions, and operate machinery.
  • Experience working in warm or cold environments.

  • Advanced understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Advanced knowledge of assigned equipment operation.
  • Ability to think critically and solve problems.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Understanding of safety and standard operating procedures.
