About the Role: As a Caregiver, you will have the opportunity to provide personalized care and companionship to our clients in the comfort of their own homes. Our Caregivers deliver high-quality care that improves the overall quality of life for our clients, and we are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team. Responsibilities: As a Caregiver, you will be responsible for performing personal care activities that assist clients with activities of daily living, which include: Assisting with transferring/moving clients from place to place throughout their homePerforming housekeeping activities such as vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning the bathroomPreparing meals and snacks according to instructionsAccompanying clients on errands or medical appointmentsBathing, showering, dressing, and shavingMedication remindersAssisting with prescribed range of motion exercisesDementia careCompanionship activities such as reading and music Qualifications and Skills: High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferredAbility to lift/move 50 lbs without assistanceAbility to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the jobPossess a valid driver's license and current automobile insurancePass a background checkCNA license, Home Health Aide, Personal Care Aide certification preferred Why Work with Right at Home Indianapolis West?
