About the role
Responsible for providing compassionate care to patients in a healthcare setting. Duties include assisting with daily activities, administering medications, and monitoring patient health.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with personal hygiene and mobility
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient responses
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of patient living areas
- Document patient progress and interactions accurately
- Participate in regular training sessions to enhance caregiving skills
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Previous caregiving experience preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Good physical stamina and dexterity
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures
Skills
- CPR certification
- Basic computer literacy
