Weekend Warehouse Associate - (Thursday - Monday)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer support for walk-in customers
• Load and unload trucks safely
• Scan-in equipment, by order, in compliance with Rentex policy and procedure
• Check for missing equipment and report on findings
• Count cables and miscellaneous items
• Double-check anything requiring a signature
• Follow direction of the department leader and managers
• Pull and prep orders with excellence and high attention to detail
• Maintain safe, organized, and clean work environment to ensure safety and compliance
• Comply with written and posted company policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Any combination of education, experience, and training equivalent to graduation from high school or a GED
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds

Supervisory Responsibility

This position does not supervise other employees.

Work Environment

This job operates in a warehouse environment. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs. The employee must occasionally lift or move objects up to 50 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic knowledge in set-up, operation, and troubleshooting of computer and audio-visual equipment
• Prior experience in live event production
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
