- Treatment of a variety of animal species under the supervision of licensed veterinarians.
- Perform routine medical procedures including vaccinations, dental care, and physical examinations.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by veterinarians.
- Assist in surgical procedures under the guidance of licensed veterinarians.
- Provide pre- and post-operative care for animals undergoing surgery.
- Document patient care and treatment in electronic health records.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an AVMA-accredited institution.
- Current license to practice veterinary medicine in the state of [State Name].
