Weekend Sign Installer - Salisbury, NC

About the role

Artisan Direct is seeking an independent contractor to place and pick up temporary weekend signs in the Salisbury, NC area, specifically in the Grants Landing community. The contractor will install lightweight corrugated‑plastic signs on wooden stakes provided by Artisan Direct and will use the company’s mobile app to report each installation and pickup.

Responsibilities

• Use Artisan Direct's mobile application to report installation and pickup of signs at specific locations
• Install signs every weekend between Friday 5 PM and Saturday 10 AM
• Pick up the same signs between Sunday 6 PM and Monday 8 AM
• Store signs and extra stakes safely during the week
• Submit a weekly invoice and order replacement inventory via the website after completing pickup

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance
• 18+ years old
• Reliable vehicle with enough space to transport 30+ signs
• Smartphone (Android or iPhone), roughly four years old or newer, capable of running the mobile app
• Ability to lift and place signs and work outdoors
• Ability to hammer stakes 6–8 inches into the ground during the first weekend only
• Dependable and able to complete routes within the required time windows each weekend

This is a 1099 independent contractor position. Contractors are not employees of Artisan Direct and are responsible for their own fuel, expenses, taxes, and insurance. Contractors determine their own driving order, provide their own vehicle and mobile device, and complete the work within the placement and pickup windows provided. No benefits, minimum hours, or employment guarantees are offered. Contractors may accept or decline routes but must complete any route they commit to.

Pay

• Starting compensation: $82.50 per weekend
• Pay issued via direct deposit every two weeks
• $20.00 signing bonus
• $100.00 bonus after 4 weeks of completed work

Schedule

Installation window: Friday 5:00 PM to Saturday 10:00 AM (all signs must be placed by Saturday 10:00 AM).
Pickup window: Sunday 6:00 PM to Monday 8:00 AM (all signs must be removed by Monday 8:00 AM). Work may be performed at any time within these windows.
