Weekend Sign Installer - Canal Winchester, OH

About the role

Artisan Direct is seeking an independent contractor to place and pick up temporary weekend signs in the Winchester, OH area, specifically in the Cobblestone Towns community. The contractor will install lightweight corrugated‑plastic signs on wooden stakes provided by Artisan Direct (including replacement inventory as needed) and use the company’s mobile application to report installation and pickup at each location. This is a 1099 independent contractor position: contractors are not employees, are responsible for their own fuel, expenses, taxes, and insurance, determine their own driving order, provide their own vehicle and mobile device, and must complete any route they commit to (they may accept or decline routes). The work is straightforward, independent, and recurring each weekend, making it a good fit for delivery or rideshare drivers, couriers, retirees, veterans, or anyone looking for flexible supplemental income.

Responsibilities

• Use Artisan Direct's mobile application to report installation and pickup of signs at specific locations
• Install signs every weekend between Friday 5:00 PM and Saturday 10:00 AM
• Pick up the same signs between Sunday 6:00 PM and Monday 8:00 AM
• Store signs and extra stakes safely during the week
• Submit a weekly invoice and order replacement inventory after completing pickup via the company website

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance
• 18 years of age or older
• Reliable vehicle with enough space to transport 30+ signs
• Smartphone (Android or iPhone) roughly four years old or newer, capable of running the mobile app
• Ability to lift and place signs and work outdoors
• Ability to hammer stakes 6–8 inches into the ground during the first weekend only
• Dependable and able to complete routes within the required time windows each weekend

Pay

• Starting compensation: $82.50 per weekend
• Pay issued via direct deposit every two weeks
• $20.00 signing bonus
• $100.00 bonus after 4 weeks of completed work

Schedule

Installation window: Friday 5:00 PM to Saturday 10:00 AM. Pickup window: Sunday 6:00 PM to Monday 8:00 AM. Work may be performed at any time within those windows, provided all signs are placed by Saturday 10:00 AM and removed by Monday 8:00 AM.
