Weekend Sign Installer - Ashley, OH

About the role

Artisan Direct is seeking an independent contractor to place and pick up temporary weekend signs in the Ashley, OH area. The work is recurring each weekend and involves installing lightweight corrugated plastic signs on wooden stakes provided by Artisan Direct.

Schedule

• Install signs between Friday at 5:00 PM and Saturday at 10:00 AM.
• Pick up the same signs between Sunday at 6:00 PM and Monday at 8:00 AM.

Work may be performed at any time within these windows, as long as all signs are placed by Saturday at 10:00 AM and removed by Monday at 8:00 AM.

Responsibilities

• Use Artisan Direct's mobile application to report installation and pickup of signs at specific locations.
• Install signs every weekend between Friday 5 PM and Saturday 10 AM.
• Pick up the same signs between Sunday 6 PM and Monday 8 AM.
• Store signs and extra stakes safely during the week.
• Submit a weekly invoice and order replacement inventory after completing pickup.
• Hammer stakes 6–8 inches into the ground during the first weekend only.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance.
• 18+ years old.
• Reliable vehicle with enough space to transport 30+ signs.
• A smartphone (Android or iPhone), roughly four years old or newer, capable of running our mobile app.
• Ability to lift and place signs and work outdoors.
• Dependable and able to complete routes within the required time windows each weekend.

Pay

• Starting compensation is $82.50 per weekend.
• Pay is issued via direct deposit every two weeks.
• $20.00 signing bonus.
• $100.00 bonus after 4 weeks of completed work.

Starting pay reflects current work available in this location. Additional work may be offered as it becomes available.

Additional Information

This is a 1099 independent contractor position. Contractors are responsible for their own fuel, expenses, taxes, and insurance. No benefits, minimum hours, or employment guarantees are offered. Contractors determine their own driving order, provide their own vehicle and mobile device, and must complete any route they commit to.
