About the Role
Artisan Direct is seeking a reliable person in the Lake Wales, FL area to assist with weekend human directional sign work. This is straightforward outdoor work where you will stand at an assigned location, display a lightweight directional sign, and help bring attention to a nearby business or event. The role is ideal for someone who wants consistent weekend income and does not mind being outside.
Responsibilities
- Stand outdoors at an assigned location with a provided sign
- Complete the scheduled time on Saturday and Sunday
- Check in and out by phone when required
- Be dependable, on time, and professional while on-site
- Report any weather, safety, or location issues promptly
There is no selling, no door-to-door work, and no cash handling.
Schedule
Most assignments are on Saturday and Sunday afternoons, typically lasting 5 hours each day (about 10 total hours per weekend).
Pay
Pay is $200 for each completed weekend assignment. Payment is issued by direct deposit every two weeks.
Requirements
- Must be 18 or older
- Reliable transportation
- Working smartphone
- Comfortable standing outdoors for several hours
- Able to work in normal outdoor weather conditions
- Reliable weekend availability
- Able to complete accepted assignments as scheduled
Contractor Information
This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity, not an employee position. Contractors are responsible for their own taxes, transportation, fuel, insurance, phone, and related expenses. You may accept or decline available assignments. Once you accept an assignment, you are expected to complete it during the scheduled time. No benefits, minimum hours, or employment guarantees are offered.
