What Your Day Looks Like
The Mill Technician I is responsible for:
- Milling Operations: Grain testing, auto and manual truck probing, hand-adds, recording medication and vitamin usage.
- Animal Nutrition: Understanding how ingredients interact with milling and grinding processes.
- Cleaning and Housekeeping: Performing routine housekeeping tasks.
- Inventory Management: Maintaining bag inventories, stacking and ordering.
- Administrative Tasks: Completing required training and performing other duties as assigned.
Who You Are
- Independent and able to follow instructions.
- Understand and comply with Food Safety Standards and regulations.
- Basic math and critical thinking skills.
- Positive attitude and good communication skills.
- Basic computer skills and ability to work weekends and overtime.
- Team player and adaptable to change.
- Safe behavior and adherence to policies and procedures.
- Physical abilities to lift, climb, work in confined spaces, and in dusty conditions.
