Weekend Shift Mill Technician

What Your Day Looks Like

The Mill Technician I is responsible for:

• Milling Operations: Grain testing, auto and manual truck probing, hand-adds, recording medication and vitamin usage.
• Animal Nutrition: Understanding how ingredients interact with milling and grinding processes.
• Cleaning and Housekeeping: Performing routine housekeeping tasks.
• Inventory Management: Maintaining bag inventories, stacking and ordering.
• Administrative Tasks: Completing required training and performing other duties as assigned.

• Independent and able to follow instructions.
• Understand and comply with Food Safety Standards and regulations.
• Basic math and critical thinking skills.
• Positive attitude and good communication skills.
• Basic computer skills and ability to work weekends and overtime.
• Team player and adaptable to change.
• Safe behavior and adherence to policies and procedures.
• Physical abilities to lift, climb, work in confined spaces, and in dusty conditions.
