Weekend Part Time Production Supervisor

Schedule

Weekend shift – Saturdays and Sundays, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.

This role does not qualify for benefits.

Responsibilities

• Manage, hire, lead, motivate, and qualify production workers in accordance with organizational policies and applicable laws.
• Exhibit confidence in self and staff; resolve interdepartmental issues, accept and give feedback, and provide recognition.
• Maintain a clean and safe production environment.
• Ensure production output aligns with the schedule while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity.
• Collaborate with the production manager and planning department to define the weekly production schedule.
• Understand, apply, and train staff on LEAN Manufacturing principles.
• Continuously improve production processes by maintaining an efficient Shop Floor Management system.
• Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders; assign duties to appropriate personnel.
• Communicate company and department policies to workers and ensure compliance.
• Enforce safety regulations and maintain time and production records.
• Coordinate activities with the Production Manager, Supervisors, and other departments.
• Use software programs such as CAD, MRP II, and Microsoft Suite.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma (required).
• Minimum of three years’ experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills (preferred).
