Weekend Overnight Caregiver

Responsibilities

• Perform all primary duties of a professional care professional as necessary
• Assist the client with their bedtime routine
• Remain on standby alert throughout the night, assist the client as needed, and record the number of times and duration of assistance required
• Assist the client with their morning rising routine
• Prepare evening and/or morning meals and clean up meal-related items

Requirements

• Ability to lift, push, or pull 25 pounds
• Ability to bend, twist, stoop, kneel, and reach
• Ability to withstand exposure to dust, mold, mildew, and cleaning solutions
• Ability to treat and care for clients and their property with dignity and respect
• Ability to adapt to various living environments and locations
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
• Ability to hear and speak English clearly in person and on the telephone, and read and write English at an adult level

Special Qualifications

• Ability to drive to work site locations and provide incidental transportation and/or run client errands as necessary or required
• Must have reliable transportation, maintain a current driver’s license, good driving record, and auto liability insurance as required

Pay

$13–$16 per hour
