WEEKEND OPTION NURSE RN/LPN

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting.
• Complete comprehensive resident assessments and monitor changes in condition.
• Administer medications, treatments, wound care, and other physician-ordered services.
• Accurately document nursing care, assessments, and resident outcomes in the electronic medical record.
• Supervise and direct Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and other assigned staff.
• Communicate changes in resident condition to physicians, responsible parties, and appropriate team members.
• Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary team meetings.
• Respond appropriately to emergencies and resident needs.
• Ensure compliance with infection prevention and control standards.
• Maintain compliance with CMS regulations, Indiana State Department of Health requirements, and facility policies and procedures.
• Promote resident rights, dignity, independence, and person-centered care.
• Foster a positive work environment through teamwork and professional communication.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN): Current Indiana RN license in good standing. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Skilled nursing facility or long-term care experience preferred.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): Current Indiana LPN license in good standing. Graduate of an approved practical nursing program. Skilled nursing facility or long-term care experience preferred.
