Employment Type: Full time, Night Shift. This is a weekend-only CT position working Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night shifts with additional shift differential.

About the Role

Imaging Technologist performs a variety of exams in multiple modalities, ensuring optimal image quality to support areas of greatest need through additional competencies and/or certifications. This role supports CT as well as medical technologist duties as needed to maintain department workflow.

Responsibilities

  • Provides patient care, ensures an environment of patient safety, and promotes evidence-based practice and quality initiatives.
  • Exhibits professionalism within established Radiology and Imaging National standards.
  • Enters online charges in the Radiology Information System (RIS) and ensures high accuracy in charge accountability.
  • Performs a variety of CT procedures, both professional and non-clinical, with optimal image quality.
  • Performs diagnostic X-ray exams with consistent and optimal image quality.
  • Performs a variety of exams and is experienced in at least one modality, with minor experience in another or willingness to be trained based on licensure.
  • Assists with medical staff duties to maintain workflow through the departments.
  • Participates in on-call coverage as applicable.
  • Attends in-service programs and department meetings.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma (required). Graduate of a Radiologic Technology Program; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Registered as a Radiographer by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or registry eligible.
  • Valid State of Ohio Radiological License (required). CT/MRI registry preferred.
  • 2 or more years in imaging preferred.
  • Current CPR certification (required).
  • Able to perform professional duties with minimal supervision.
  • Effective communication skills.
