Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized store environment with a focus on floor care.
• Operate the scrubber and buffer; dust mop, damp mop, sweep, vacuum, dust; spot clean glass and windows.
• Adhere to all operational, merchandise, and loss‑prevention standards.
• Cross‑train to work in multiple store areas to support business needs.
• Role‑model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
• Support and embody a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
• Maintain floor‑care cleanliness standards, including maintenance and operation of the scrubber and buffer.
• Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the entire store (Sales Floor, Single Queue, Associate Lounge, Backroom, Restrooms).
• Adhere to company Health and Safety policies, including refilling essential items in the Lounge, Restrooms, and Front End.
• Support Front End coverage needs as required.
• Adhere to merchandising philosophy and signage standards.
• Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day.
• Adhere to operational and loss‑prevention controls per company guidelines, including shrink reduction.
• Communicate accurately and effectively with management and associates.
• Adhere to all labor laws, policies, and procedures, including associate meal and break period policies.
• Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and operate floor buffer and scrubber.
• Capable of multi‑tasking.
• Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; listens and responds appropriately.
• Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Standout colleague who works effectively with peers and supervisors.
• Retail customer experience preferred.

Pay

This position has a starting pay range of USD $13.25 to $13.75 per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
