This role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse, ensuring a safe and hygienic working environment for employees and visitors, and requires forklift certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing work areas.
• Collect product trash – including boxes, tape, packaging, and collateral – from the product aisles.
• Conduct thorough checks of all corrugated trash to prevent accidental disposal of product/equipment.
• Manage the cardboard baler, including wire replacement, and maintain cleanliness in its vicinity.
• Use floor scrubber as necessary.
• Empty waste receptacles and operate the trash compactor.
• Handle basic issues and problems and refer more complex issues to higher‑level staff.
• Ensure familiarity with the whereabouts of Material Safety Data (MSD) books and maintain a practical understanding of the MSD data.
• Follow warehouse safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned based on the warehouse’s business needs.
