Job Duties
- Reports to Merchandiser Trainer each morning for assignments
- Inspects vehicle condition (i.e. body damage, tires, fluids, safety issues, etc.) prior to leaving daily. Any issues should be noted to Merchandiser Trainer or Supervisor
- Required to follow all company accident procedures necessary if involved in an accident
- Visits route locations as per schedule. Any changes should be authorized by Merchandiser Trainer or Supervisor
- Checks in and out with store management each and every time entering and leaving an account. Also signs in and out of log sheets if provided at store level
- Runs Encompass each and every day through personal cellular phone
- Stocks all locations to meet store/company standards
- Rotates product during stocking to procedure of company policy
- Discards all trash properly at location
- Maintains good communication with Merchandiser Trainer/Supervisor with any questions or concerns for each route
- Contact Merchandiser Trainer/Supervisor before heading back to the facility for any other duties/tasks
- Once back at the facility; parks vehicle at designated location. Cleans out vehicle at the end of each day and drops keys properly
- Maintains a good driving record/licenses
- Works one day during the week to help weekday merchandisers to throw orders/build back stock, fill windows and displays to meet store/company standards
- Fulfills other duties as directed by management
- Has a positive attitude about all of your fellow employees when in discussions with retailers
- Maintains open and clear communication with all managers and other employees of the company
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- An understanding of alcoholic beverage industry
- Ability to work with computer programs associated with the performance of the position
- Must be a results oriented professional with excellent verbal/written communication skills; uses diplomacy and discretion
- Ability to work well with all levels of the organization, to organize, prioritize, negotiate, manage, motivate others and solve problems
- Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlines
- Highly professional, with ability to interface well with internal and external contacts
- Have strong customer service and interpersonal expertise
- Decision making, thoroughness and time management a must
- Knowledge of geographic areas; familiarity with assigned territory
- Possess a valid Texas drivers license and have an acceptable MVR
- Valid TABC License
- Pass background and drug screens
- Prior beer industry experience preferred
