Join us as a Weekend Locum Veterinarian and enjoy a consistent, low-stress rhythm that fits your lifestyle. As a Petfolk Veterinarian, you’ll be charged with improving the lives of pets and their parents in Dallas.

Responsibilities

• Improving the lives of pets and their parents
• Collaborating with the team to ensure high-quality pet care with exceptional customer experiences
• Providing general practice and daytime urgent care
• Adapting and thriving in an innovative, dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Using a Fear-Free or low-stress handling-based approach to interacting with and handling pets
• Staying current on innovation in the industry and continuously meeting state CE requirements

Requirements

• A Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine (or equivalent), active and in good standing in the state of Texas or currently pursuing registration in TX (We will pay for it!)
• 1+ years in the pet ecosystem
• A passion for improving veterinary healthcare and educating pet parents
• A compassionate team player with a positive attitude that prioritizes effective communication

• A life-long learner who stays current on industry trends and continuous learning to meet and exceed state CE requirements
