Weekend Evening Counselor
About the role
Concern Housing is seeking a Weekend Evening Counselor to assist the Supervisor and Service Coordinator in delivering direct services to clients and supporting the overall operation of the site. The counselor provides a variety of services, including teaching skills, delivering concrete services, and offering counseling to clients.
Schedule
Saturday - Sunday, 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM
Responsibilities
- Provides direct care services to clients.
- Responsible for documentation of assigned clients and other clients' progress.
- Monitors the site, coordinates, and participates in house activities such as meal preparation, chore activities, recreational activities, and safety checks.
- Provides rehabilitative support services in daily living skills, health services, and others as assigned.
- Monitors medication, performs medication counts, and prepares medication sheets.
- Assists with transportation of clients.
- Performs unit inspections and assists residents with upkeep and cleanliness of individual units.
- Attends weekly supervision and staff meetings.
- Remains current with all agency-required compliance documents and trainings.
Requirements
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
- At least two years of experience in a similar role.

Pay
$20.00 per hour
