Weekend Direct Support Professional (PT with Benefits)

About the role

Jill’s House is a Christian non-profit organization and auxiliary ministry of McLean Bible Church. We provide short-term, overnight respite care and holistic family support services for individuals with intellectual disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Guidance and supervision of individuals to whom you are assigned.
• Performing a combination of basic care, assistance with activities of daily living, and activity guidance in a safe, nurturing environment.
• Following each client’s service plan and ensuring a positive and enjoyable experience for all participants.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old, high school graduate or GED.
• At least six months successful experience is preferred.
• Saturn shift availability is required.
• Satisfactory oral and written communication skills are required.
• Must possess strong collaboration and teamwork skills, patience, and a desire to learn new things and grow.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds and maintain stamina for long periods of time.
• Must affirm the McLean Bible Church Vision and Values as well as abide by the Standards of Christian Conduct.

Pay

The salary range is $18.00 to $18.75 hourly.

Schedule

• Fridays: 5 PM - 10 PM
• Saturdays: 1 PM - 9 PM
• Sundays: 6 AM - 4 PM
