Weekend Custodian (Part Time)

Position Summary

Provides custodial services for weekend events across the district.

Primary Duties And Responsibilities

• Clean conference rooms, classrooms, the lunchroom, stairways, and corridors in an acceptable manner including, but not limited to, sweeping, vacuuming, dry/wet mopping, scrubbing, and waxing floors/carpets;
• Dusting;
• Straightening/setting-up furniture;
• Washing tables/desks and blackboards;
• Emptying trash bins and pencil sharpeners;
• Clean restrooms, which includes sinks and toilets, and refill paper towel dispenser, toilet paper dispenser, and feminine vending machine.
• Maintain the outside grounds including, but not limited to, mowing the grass, removal of snow and ice.
• Perform minor maintenance such as changing light bulbs, replacing ceiling tiles, cleaning/replacing filters.
• Report major repairs to the Director in a prompt manner.
• Maintain all custodial storage areas.
• Request supplies and custodial equipment needed in the performance of custodial duties including kitchen supplies, janitorial supplies, and coffee and condiments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
