The W Assisted Living Management Company is looking for a talented, energetic Weekend Cook with a "YES WE CAN" attitude. You'll prepare fresh, nourishing meals for our residents, many of whom look forward to mealtime as a highlight of their day. If you take pride in great food, a clean kitchen, and caring for seniors, we'd love to meet you. What You'll Do Prepare and cook meals for residents following standardized recipes, portion guidelines, and planned menusAccommodate special diets and texture modifications (such as low sodium, diabetic, and mechanical soft) as orderedPlan food production so meals are ready on time and served at the proper temperatureOperate kitchen equipment safely and efficientlyKeep the kitchen, storage areas, and your workstation clean, organized, and inspection-readyStore, label, and handle food in line with federal, state, and local health department standardsWork as a team with dietary aides and staff to deliver a positive dining experience for residents What You Bring High school diploma or GEDExperience in culinary or food service; experience in senior living, healthcare, or institutional kitchens is a plusFood Handler Certification (or ability to obtain one upon hire)Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practicesA warm, resident-focused attitude and strong communication skillsReliability and availability to work every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday What We Offer Competitive payPaid time off and paid sick daysOnsite trainingUnlimited employee referral bonusesGrowth and development paths tailored to your interestsSupportive management that has your backA reliable, consistent schedule with weekdays free Why Work at The W Group?
