The Weekend Controls Technician is responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining production equipment, including electrical, mechanical, and PLC systems, primarily using Allen Bradley platforms such as RS Logix 500 and 5000. Key duties include analyzing equipment function, diagnosing issues with electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components, and performing repairs or programming updates to ensure production reliability. They will utilize digital multimeters, set up servo controls, and manage variable frequency drives. Additional responsibilities involve documenting repairs and preventative maintenance via enterprise asset management software, evaluating new equipment, and collaborating with technical teams for machine improvements. Qualifications include at least 2 years of related experience, preferably an associate’s degree in a technical field, with proficiency in troubleshooting electrical and PLC systems. Required skills encompass use of work order systems, Microsoft Office, and obtaining forklift and aerial platform licenses.
