Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and personalized care to our patients, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and peace of mind.
• Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, with the utmost sensitivity and respect.
• Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and their families, creating a nurturing and reassuring presence.
• Assist clients with their daily activities, spreading positivity and cheer.
• Provide companionship, a listening ear, and engage in activities like preparing tea.
• Prepare meals in the kitchen.
• Tackle household chores and errands.
• Use humor and laughter to keep spirits high.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• A valid driver's license & vehicle (to drive to clients' homes and run errands).
• Willing to drive up to 30 minutes to get to clients' homes.
• Ability to work on weekends.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to listen actively and respond with empathy and understanding.
• A deep understanding of the unique needs and challenges faced by patients and families.
• A knack for turning everyday moments into unforgettable memories.
• The ability to find humor in challenging situations.

We hire State Tested Nursing Aides (STNAs), Home Health Aides (HHAs), Medical Assistants (MAs), Personal Care Assistants (PCAs), nursing students, retired nurses, retirees (from any field), empty-nesters, or anyone else with a heart & desire to care for others, who are willing to learn and become a professional caregiver.

Pay

$16.00 per hour for 4-12 hour shifts. $1-$2 pay differential for short shifts (2-3 hours in length).
