Home Instead is hiring compassionate and dependable Weekend Caregivers throughout St. Joseph County, Indiana, including South Bend, Mishawaka, Granger, Osceola, New Carlisle, Lakeville, Walkerton, and surrounding communities. This role is ideal for students, those working another job during the week, or anyone preferring weekend hours who wants to earn extra income while making a real difference in seniors’ lives.

Responsibilities

• Providing companionship and meaningful conversation
• Assisting with bathing, dressing, and personal care
• Preparing meals and assisting with light housekeeping
• Providing medication reminders
• Helping with mobility and daily activities
• Running errands and providing transportation
• Supporting seniors living with Alzheimer's or dementia

Requirements

• Availability to work weekend shifts
• A genuine desire to help older adults
• Good communication skills
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to meet applicable background screening requirements
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable attitude

No prior professional caregiving experience is required; training and support are provided.
