About the role
Comfort Keepers is seeking caring and loving Caregivers to provide compassionate care in Carrollton and Denton, Texas. Available shifts include Friday to Sunday or Saturday & Sunday, and Dayshift or overnight shift.
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly companionship and assistance with daily activities such as dressing guidance, grooming, meal preparation, medication reminders, running errands, laundry, and light housekeeping.
- Offer personal care services including bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility support, incontinence care, feeding, and other services as needed.
- Transport clients to doctor’s appointments and run errands.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of caregiving experience.
- Preferred experience with dementia/parkinson's care.
- Facility setting experience is beneficial.
- Skilled in using Hoyer lift, gait belts, and transfer boards.
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license are required.
- Flexible availability, including weekends.
- Background check must be passed.
- Must be honest, dependable, respectful of dignity and privacy.
