About the role
Caregivers at Home Instead provide companionship and compassionate caregiving services to seniors in their homes.
Responsibilities
- Foster relationships with clients through companionship and caregiving.
- Aid in meal preparation and perform light housekeeping duties.
- Provide personal care services such as grooming, bathing, restroom use, and managing incontinence.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 months of paid professional caregiving experience (non-family).
- OR be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Home Health Aide (HHA), Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)/Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or Registered Nurse (RN).
- Reliable transportation to and from clients (preferred but not required).
- Work at least two weekly shifts with the same client(s) to provide consistent care and build strong relationships.
- Basic English speaking, reading, and writing abilities (bilingual/multilingual individuals encouraged).
- Complete any necessary compliance, license, or registration requirements.
