Weekend Caregiver (CNA/HCA)

About the Role

We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Caregivers with an active HCA or CNA certification to join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of older adults and their families. This part-time position offers morning shifts on weekends.

Service areas: Primarily Kenmore and South Seattle.

Responsibilities

• Assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene assistance
• Safe transfers and mobility assistance using Hoyer lift
• Ambulation and transfers, including assisting the client with walking and getting in and out of bed or chairs
• Light housekeeping
• Pet care assistance
• Monitoring and promoting client safety, comfort, and well-being
• Communicating effectively and compassionately with the client, family members, and the Home Instead care team

Requirements

• An active HCA or CNA certification (REQUIRED)
• Experience using a Hoyer lift (REQUIRED)
• A valid driver's license and auto insurance (preferred, but not required)
• Comfortable working in a home with cats
• A compassionate, patient, and dependable attitude
• Committed to treating clients and their homes with dignity and respect

Pay

$22.00-$32.00 per hour, depending on shift

Schedule

• Saturday & Sunday: 8AM-12PM
• Sunday: 10AM-9PM
