Weekend Caregiver

About the role

Visiting Angels of Hurst is seeking a Weekend Caregiver to provide compassionate in‑home support to senior adults throughout the HEB area, including Euless, Hurst, Bedford, East Fort Worth, North Fort Worth, Haltom City, Watauga, Richland Hills, and surrounding communities. Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Manage light housekeeping tasks.
• Prompt clients to take prescription medications at the correct times.
• Help clients with shopping, grocery unpacking, or shop on their behalf.
• Plan and prepare meals in collaboration with clients, respecting their abilities.
• Support client mobility and ambulation, including house navigation, doctor visits, and walks.
• Respond quickly to medical emergencies and accurately report health changes or unusual circumstances.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent time‑management skills.
• Reliable transportation for client visits.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Familiarity with basic housekeeping and cooking tasks.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• A compassionate heart for vulnerable individuals seeking meaningful companionship.
• Willingness to comply with state and office‑specific health and safety standards.

Pay
