About the Role

Home Instead - Klipsch Senior Care is seeking compassionate, empathetic, and reliable individuals to join our team as Care Professionals. You will be enhancing the lives of aging adults, enabling them to remain safely and comfortably in their own homes.

Responsibilities

• Providing companionship and conversation
• Assisting with bathing, grooming, toileting, and incontinence issues
• Providing stabilization and assistance with walking
• Preparing meals and cleaning up meal-related items
• Performing light housekeeping tasks (dusting, vacuuming, changing linens, etc.)
• Washing and ironing laundry
• Providing medication and appointment reminders
• Running errands and accompanying clients to appointments
• Providing specialized care, including Advanced Alzheimer's/Dementia and Hospice care
• Documenting daily activities and reporting any significant changes in a client's needs
• Maintaining regular communication with your supervisor and the office staff

Qualifications & Requirements

• Ability to treat and care for clients and their property with dignity and respect
• Possess a valid driver's license or state identification
• Possess valid auto insurance (if applicable for driving clients)
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening
• Ability to lift, push, or pull 25 pounds
• Ability to bend, twist, stoop, kneel, and reach
• Ability to adapt to various living environments and locations

Pay & Schedule

• Competitive pay from $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
• Weekend shifts available: Morning (8am-12pm), Day (12pm-4pm), Evening (4pm-8pm), and Overnight (8pm-8am)
