Weekend Caregiver

About the role

Careers at Easthaven Villa, part of Caring Places Management, offer the chance to provide exceptional care in a homelike environment for seniors. This role involves working weekends as a Weekend Caregiver at our community in Yelm, WA.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality care to residents in a homelike setting
• Assist with daily activities of living such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
• Participate in scheduled health assessments and medication management
• Support residents’ social and emotional needs
• Work in a team environment with other caregivers and support staff

Requirements

• HCA or CNA certification (or willing to complete HCA training)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Criminal background check required
• Able to lift, push, or pull up to 25 pounds
• Prior caregiving experience or experience in an assisted living environment preferred

Qualifications

• Passionate about caring for seniors
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills

Skills

• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of senior care best practices
• Basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office)

Pay

$20-$23 per hour, DOE

Schedule

Saturday & Sunday (Doubles)
Day Shift: 6am - 2pm
Swing Shift: 2pm - 10pm
