Overview

Pay Rate: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour based on experience
Schedule: Saturday and Sunday 10:00am - 6:00pm with opportunity to pick up additional shifts
Location: Needville, TX

Responsibilities

  • Aid with weekend kitchen operations, including meal preparation, food service, kitchen organization, cleanup, and maintaining food safety standards.
  • Build meaningful, supportive relationships with clients, maintaining professional boundaries while assisting with their daily needs and activities.
  • Review and apply treatment team strategies daily to drive client progress and ensure effective intervention.
  • Utilize advanced de-escalation techniques and crisis management training to support clients, ensuring a calm and safe environment.
  • Embrace a caregiver role with empathy and intentionality, fostering attuned relationships and providing constructive feedback to support client growth.
  • Contribute to a clean and welcoming environment by managing campus upkeep, supporting clients with chores, and addressing maintenance issues promptly.
  • Maintain thorough and precise documentation of client interactions and staff interventions to ensure consistent and effective care.
  • Uphold company values, communicate effectively, adhere to policies, and maintain punctuality while managing time off and avoiding unauthorized overtime.

Qualifications

  • Age: 21 years of age or older
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent, Associates or bachelor's in human services, psychology, criminal justice, or related field preferred.

Skills

  • Comfortable working in both a residential care environment and a kitchen setting.
  • Experience in behavioral health, residential treatment, direct care, youth services, hospitality, food service, or related fields preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred, will provide training.
