Weekend Baylor Supervisor RN - NHC HealthCare Charleston

About the role

Working with the interdisciplinary care team, to assure accurate patient assessment and development/revision of individualized plans of care. Maintains open and ongoing communication with patients and families, providing opportunity and encouragement to participate in decision making. Supervise LPNs and other nursing partners as assigned. Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Work with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure accurate patient assessment and plan of care development/revision.
• Maintain open and ongoing communication with patients and families, encouraging their participation in decision-making.
• Supervise Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and other nursing staff as assigned.
• Perform other duties as directed by the Director of Nursing.

Requirements

• South Carolina RN Nursing license.

Qualifications

• Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
