Weekend Babysitter for Young Children

About the role

We are seeking a kind, patient, and dependable weekend babysitter for our two sons, ages 6 and 3, in Newark, NJ. Both boys are autistic and are sweet, energetic, and affectionate. They enjoy cars, music, playing at the park, and being active.

Responsibilities

• Preparing simple meals and snacks
• Assisting with basic care (feeding, bathing)
• Engaging the children in fun activities
• Following the boys' routines

Requirements

• Experience with young children (essential)
• Experience with autism or special needs (strongly preferred)
• Patient, nurturing, and reliable
• Reliable transportation
• CPR/First Aid certification (a plus)

Schedule

Weekends — hours are flexible and can be discussed.
