About the Role

As a Home Health Nurse / Private Duty Nurse with Pediatric Home Service, you will provide personalized, 1:1 care for a 15‑year‑old child with a tracheostomy, ventilator, and gastrostomy tube, enabling them to thrive at home. The position is based in Bellevue, NE (68005) and operates Monday through Friday with shifts of 7 a.m.–3 p.m. or 8 a.m.–4 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized 1:1 nursing care to a child with trach, vent, and g‑tube.
• Perform ventilator management, tracheostomy care, and gastrostomy tube feeding and maintenance.
• Develop a trusting relationship with the child and family, observing and supporting the child’s progress.
• Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and respond to changes in condition.
• Communicate regularly with the family, physicians, and interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure a safe home environment.

Requirements

• Current RN or LPN license in good standing.
• Willingness to receive specialized training in ventilator, trach, and g‑tube care (no prior experience required).
• Pediatric experience is a plus but not mandatory.
