WEEKDAY MORNING YOUTH SOCCER COACH

About the role

Soccer Shots is an engaging children’s soccer program dedicated to character development. We positively impact children’s lives on and off the field through our best-in-class coaching, communication, and curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Coach and manage Soccer Shots sessions during the week at schools, preschools, daycares, community centers, and parks.
• Deliver our Soccer Shots curriculum focusing on skill and character development in sessions.
• Provide a pleasant customer experience to daycare center staff, directors, and parents.
• Arrive on time (10 - 15 minutes before the session) at your locations/sessions.
• Maintain equipment and manage your class rosters.
• Complete new coaches' training (online & on-field), receive coaching evaluations and constructive feedback.
• Attend meetings either in-person or online.
• Must give a 9-12 week commitment for the season.

Qualifications

• Professional & Responsible: Communicate professionally, have timeliness, be courteous, clean appearance, be self-motivated, and be dependable.
• Fun & Creative: Enthusiastic person, comfortable with being goofy and imaginative with children ages 2-10.
• Patient & Empathetic: Patient person willing to work through behavior and learning curves.
• Soccer Knowledgable & Athletic: Previous soccer experience as a player or instructor preferred, but not required.
• Transportation & Cell Phone: Valid driver's license with reliable transportation and personal mobile phone with data.
• Clear Background Check: Pass a Live Scan with a clear record.
• Education: High school Diploma or GED minimum, 12 accredited ECE units in Early Childhood Development, or Soccer Coach experience.
