Weekday Caregiver Needed Urgently Hiring

About the role

Visiting Angels is looking for dependable, experienced caregivers with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to help seniors throughout Havertown and Delaware County. Caregivers help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes while providing families with peace of mind. The Main Line office has earned the Best of Home Care – Provider of Choice award since 2010.

What You'll Do

• Companionship and meaningful conversation
• Assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care
• Meal preparation
• Light housekeeping
• Grocery shopping and errands
• Communication with families and the office team
• Assist clients with grocery shopping, pharmacy pickups, running errands, and other essential tasks

Requirements

• Compassionate and genuinely care about helping others
• Dependable and punctual
• Professional and trustworthy
• Licensed driver with reliable transportation
• Comfortable driving to client assignments and completing errands (clients are never transported in caregiver vehicles)
• At least 18 years old
• High school graduate or GED equivalent
• At least 2 years of caregiving or related experience
• Must be able to provide one of the following for TB clearance: 2-Step PPD, Chest X-ray, or Quantiferon Blood Test
• Must be able to provide proof of vaccination

Pay

$15.00–$18.00/hour, based on experience, qualifications, and assignment. Additional earning opportunities include weekend shift premiums, couples cases, and "Angel Calls."

Schedule

Flexible scheduling available for full-time, part-time, days, evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts.
