About the role

This opportunity entails assisting in the production and modification of design calculations, technical reports, engineering plans, and specifications for assigned projects. You will perform research, development, calculations, design, and delivery in partnership with the project team, applying engineering techniques, procedures, and design criteria for projects of varying size and complexity. You will develop conceptual and detailed designs and calculations using current tools and software, contributing to successful project delivery for a diverse range of clients.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work within the provided schedule and hours.
• Support the preparation and modification of project reports, plans, designs, and calculations.
• Assist in the preparation of project quantity and cost estimates.
• Help organize and administer design files with engineering teams.
• Support engineering teams with tasks including research, data collection, field investigations, development, and design of projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Current or recently completed HNTB interns who finished their internship in the Los Angeles office.

Pay

The approximate pay range for the Los Angeles Metro Area and Orange County, CA is $76,367.81 - $114,551.72. Actual compensation will depend on qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and physical work location within the state.
