About the Role

Webber is seeking a dynamic Procurement Specialist to drive project success and foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation. This role will make a significant contribution to projects by managing purchases for multiple initiatives, reporting directly to the Procurement Manager.

Responsibilities

• Manage, implement, and train teams on purchasing procedures and policies.
• Negotiate and prepare contracts, purchase orders, consultant agreements, and amendments.
• Analyze and evaluate vendor quotations, draft vendor contracts, and coordinate agreements from internal approvals through execution.
• Perform quote comparisons based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, production, distribution capabilities, and vendor reputation.
• Participate in Buyout Meetings to prioritize project-specific purchases, leverage vendors/subcontractors across projects, and establish procurement plans.
• Understand and communicate market change impacts, adjusting strategies to maintain procurement goals.
• Track and report all project purchases.
• Develop, strengthen, and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers and subcontractors.
• Provide guidance and assistance to project teams and estimators.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Supply Chain Management, Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, or Industrial Engineering or a related field (highly preferred).
• Minimum two (2) years of Field Engineering experience, preferably in the Construction industry.
• Experience in construction project management, estimating, or procurement with projects ranging from $3MM to $100MM, including CMAR, Design Build, and Lump Sum.
• Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, SharePoint, and Access.
• Ability to effectively communicate with all organizational levels and external vendors/suppliers.
• Demonstrated experience in planning, purchasing, and negotiating.
