Responsibilities
- Oversee the crane fleet, coordinate crane assembly and disassembly, and assist in scheduling and forecasting crane needs for operations
- Assist with repairs, inspections, and maintain all crane records and annual inspections
- Act as a liaison with operations for crane needs, planning, and forecasting
- Manage and maintain the crane schedule and produce weekly crane reports
- Monitor utilization and forecast needs for operations
- Coordinate all crane moves, assembly, and disassembly
- Assist with crane requests and identify proper size and tonnage
- Visually inspect cranes for proper maintenance and check all functions with operators
- Perform jobsite inspections and record keeping
- Service repairs and inspections
- Review lift plans as needed and requested
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned
Requirements
- Certified Crane Operator or five years of related experience and/or training; OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- Valid driver’s license required; position requires successful completion of a motor vehicle report check
- Effective organization and communication skills
- Strong people skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 360
- Ability to move throughout a construction jobsite, including minor obstacles, climbing ladders and inclines, operating heavy equipment, and lifting up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to work outdoors with exposure to changing weather conditions such as rain, sun, snow, and wind
