Responsibilities

• Oversee the crane fleet, coordinate crane assembly and disassembly, and assist in scheduling and forecasting crane needs for operations
• Assist with repairs, inspections, and maintain all crane records and annual inspections
• Act as a liaison with operations for crane needs, planning, and forecasting
• Manage and maintain the crane schedule and produce weekly crane reports
• Monitor utilization and forecast needs for operations
• Coordinate all crane moves, assembly, and disassembly
• Assist with crane requests and identify proper size and tonnage
• Visually inspect cranes for proper maintenance and check all functions with operators
• Perform jobsite inspections and record keeping
• Service repairs and inspections
• Review lift plans as needed and requested
• Perform other administrative duties as assigned

Requirements

• Certified Crane Operator or five years of related experience and/or training; OR equivalent combination of education and experience
• Valid driver’s license required; position requires successful completion of a motor vehicle report check
• Effective organization and communication skills
• Strong people skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 360
• Ability to move throughout a construction jobsite, including minor obstacles, climbing ladders and inclines, operating heavy equipment, and lifting up to 50 pounds
• Willingness to work outdoors with exposure to changing weather conditions such as rain, sun, snow, and wind
