About the role
This is a non-represented position (no union affiliation) and is subject to the provisions of the Personnel Rules of the Municipality of Anchorage.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Location
632 W 6th Ave, 4th Floor – City Hall, Municipality of Anchorage.
Requirements
- Must be legally authorized to work and accept employment in the United States; the Municipality of Anchorage cannot provide any type of sponsorship under any circumstances.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent and ten (10) years of related professional-level experience, of which two (2) years must have been at the supervisory level.
- OR Associate degree in Computer Science, Business, Public Administration, or a related discipline and eight (8) years of related professional-level experience, of which two (2) years must have been at the supervisory level.
- OR Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Public Administration, or a related discipline and six (6) years of related professional-level experience, of which two (2) years must have been at the supervisory level.
Background checks
- Satisfactory background check including criminal, education, and employment history at time of hire.
- Satisfactory Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS) background check within 30 days of hire.
