Web, Interactive, Game Designers - Creative Judgement

About the role
We are seeking experienced Junior & Senior Interactive Web & Game Designers who are professionally trained with a degree in Interactive Design, Advertising Design, BFA, or similar. Ideal candidates understand not just how to execute, but why certain creative choices resonate. You should have hands-on experience in design execution, art direction, creative direction, and providing verbal and written feedback to fellow creatives or clients.
Responsibilities
- Provide design feedback in a professional setting, including creative direction and design reviews.
- Structure feedback that is specific, grounded in design principles, and actionable.
- Conduct structured high-level design critiques (e.g., leading critiques evaluating work against clear standards or contributing to research systems or design quality frameworks).
- Mentor designers and guide creative decisions through team critiques.
- Critique and evaluate assets through structured reviews, QA, and clear reasoning to teach models how to judge quality.
- Vote and rank preference data to compare outputs and train models on what "great" looks like.
- Design and build frontend applications, from UI and prototypes to polished, production-ready apps.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional design experience.
- Strong eye across traditional design disciplines: Interactive Web Design, Web Apps, Product & Gaming.
- Experience giving design feedback in a professional setting.
- Extensive experience conducting structured high-level design critique.
- Professionally trained with a degree in Interactive Design, Advertising Design, BFA, or similar.
