About the role
We are looking for a Web Infrastructure Engineer with at least 5+ years of hands-on experience in web infrastructure or systems engineering.
Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize web servers in enterprise environments
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the team
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new technologies
- Develop and maintain scripts and automation tools to improve efficiency
- Ensure network and system security, implement and enforce security policies
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues under pressure
Requirements
- Deep technical knowledge of Linux systems, including performance tuning and troubleshooting
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and cyber security fundamentals
- Experience with Akamai or similar CDN services
- Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (Python, Bash, Ansible, etc.)
- Experience managing web servers in enterprise environments
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Akamai security products (Akamai WAF, CDN etc.)
- Knowledge of Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Kibana, APM)
- Web application security expertise
- Experience in a regulated industry
- Cloud infrastructure experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
