About the role

We are looking for a Web Infrastructure Engineer with at least 5+ years of hands-on experience in web infrastructure or systems engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize web servers in enterprise environments
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the team
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new technologies
  • Develop and maintain scripts and automation tools to improve efficiency
  • Ensure network and system security, implement and enforce security policies
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues under pressure

Requirements

  • Deep technical knowledge of Linux systems, including performance tuning and troubleshooting
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts and cyber security fundamentals
  • Experience with Akamai or similar CDN services
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (Python, Bash, Ansible, etc.)
  • Experience managing web servers in enterprise environments
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Akamai security products (Akamai WAF, CDN etc.)
  • Knowledge of Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Kibana, APM)
  • Web application security expertise
  • Experience in a regulated industry
  • Cloud infrastructure experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
