About The Role

The Manager of Web Experience & Operations at Included Health plays a pivotal role in managing and optimizing the company's marketing websites, including includedhealth.com and doctorondemand.com, along with various microsites. This role is essential for driving growth and conversion by translating broad web strategies into actionable priorities. The manager oversees daily publishing operations, manages intake requests, and ensures the seamless execution of updates and enhancements across the websites. They are responsible for implementing technical SEO best practices, improving user experience (UX), and ensuring accessibility and performance standards are met.

The role requires a strong technical background to evaluate how website architecture, rendering, and optimization decisions impact discoverability, especially across traditional SEO and AEO/GEO channels. The successful candidate will utilize AI and large language model-based tools to streamline workflows, enhance efficiency, and scale SEO and web publishing efforts. They will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including Marketing, Product, Engineering, Analytics, and Content Strategy—to deliver initiatives from conception through launch. The role demands a proactive approach to monitoring site health, diagnosing technical issues, and implementing solutions to maintain optimal performance. Additionally, the manager will develop reports on key web KPIs, communicate insights effectively, and foster continuous improvement in web operations and strategies.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in website management, digital marketing, technical SEO, or related fields, with hands-on responsibility for a production marketing website.
  • Proficiency with WordPress or similar CMS platforms, including page creation, content updates, and troubleshooting alongside developers.
  • Strong project management skills with experience in prioritizing and executing multiple concurrent web initiatives.
  • Deep understanding of technical SEO, including crawlability, indexation, schema markup, internal linking, site architecture, redirects, canonicals, and Core Web Vitals.
  • Technical proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with knowledge of how front-end decisions impact site performance and accessibility.
  • Experience using AI and LLM-based tools to enhance SEO, content operations, and workflow automation.
  • Ability to analyze web analytics data (e.g., GA4, Search Console), diagnose technical issues, and translate insights into actionable improvements.
  • Strong ownership mindset, high attention to detail, and ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations for Included Health’s marketing websites and microsites, ensuring content accuracy, accessibility, and brand consistency across devices.
  • Handle intake tickets and internal requests, translating strategic web roadmaps into prioritized tasks and managing backlogs effectively.
  • Build and update web pages, templates, and content modules in WordPress, adhering to best practices for UX, SEO, and site performance.
  • Partner with developers to troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement site improvements.
  • Oversee launch readiness activities, including QA testing, compliance checks, stakeholder communication, and post-launch monitoring.
  • Streamline publishing workflows, enhance documentation, and establish operational guardrails to improve team efficiency and quality.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation tools to optimize workflows, accelerate QA, and reduce repetitive tasks.
  • Develop and implement scalable technical SEO strategies, including structured data, internal linking, metadata, and indexation controls.
  • Conduct regular site health checks, diagnose crawlability and rendering issues, and prioritize remediation efforts based on data insights.
  • Create reports on web performance KPIs, communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders, and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams across Marketing, Product, Engineering, Analytics, and Content to ensure successful project execution from ideation to deployment.
