About the role

The Web & Digital Engineering Manager is responsible for overseeing the digital strategy and technical aspects of the website and online presence of FOREST LAWN MORTUARY. This individual will work closely with the marketing team to ensure that all digital initiatives align with the company's overall goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the development and maintenance of the company’s website and digital platforms.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement digital marketing strategies.
• Manage and optimize SEO efforts to improve search engine rankings.
• Ensure compliance with web accessibility standards.
• Develop and maintain user-friendly interfaces and interactive features on the website.
• Monitor website traffic and analytics to inform decision-making.
• Stay updated with the latest web technologies and trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in digital engineering and/or web management.
• Proven track record of managing and leading teams.
• Strong understanding of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular.
• Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress or Drupal.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $100,000 annually.

Schedule

The Web & Digital Engineering Manager works full-time, Monday through Friday, with occasional evening and weekend work required for special projects.
