WEB DEVELOPER - SENIOR - FULL STACK

6–9 month internship in Chicago, Illinois with possibility of extension and/or salary based on performance. Reports to Adrian Delancy, Technology.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the designs of the overall web architecture for Digital Factory
• Write testing frameworks and perform validation testing on your designs
• Plan, develop, and maintain UI/UX code customizations across all environments
• Work heavily with the Marketing team and Analysts to ensure the company websites are up-to-date
• Manage and train a team of web developers
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 3+ years of object-oriented design and implementation experience, data structures, and problem solving
• 2+ years of experience in people management
• Experience working with Python, Flask web services
• Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Git
• Experience in Ruby language
• Excellent communication skills with clients and team members
• Ability to handle tight-turnaround times and multiple projects
• Ability to collaborate with clients and other departments
• Ability to motivate others
• Attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline-driven atmosphere
• 2+ years GIS experience
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or any related field
• Applied work experience and/or education directly related to the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed above
