Government contractor supporting the DOJ Antitrust Division (ATR) in a full-time, fully remote role. Position requires DOJ clearance; start expected 4–6 weeks after clearance is obtained.

About the role

ITC Federal, LLC (ITC) connects technology advancements in automation and AI, customer experience, and financial services to solve government mission challenges. We leverage the latest innovations to support the DHS, DOJ, and DoW workforce and programs. This role combines strong visual design skills with technical writing to improve clarity, usability, and visual quality across digital communications, including announcements, websites, and other digital assets.

Responsibilities

  • Design, re-design, code, test, implement, and maintain new web pages and sections of agency Internet and intranet websites.
  • Create prototypes (graphic design, navigation, and layout options) of new web pages and site areas.
  • Collaborate with content providers (attorneys, economists, senior management, administrative, and IT staff) and web team members on project goals, audiences, schedules, and deliverables.
  • Establish layout, design, formatting, and style guidelines for websites.
  • Review and track web metrics and analytics.
  • Research, evaluate, and report on new and emerging developments and trends in web design and web services.
  • Communicate orally and in writing when presenting ideas and recommendations to a wide range of audiences, including senior management.
  • Train end users, web staff, and agency trainers on various aspects of agency web services.
  • Ensure new web pages and sections comply with:
    • Section 508 and 504 requirements for accessibility.
    • Best practices in usability and information architecture.
    • Federal and agency policies and requirements.
  • Implement, code, and test prototypes using HTML, CSS, XHTML, JavaScript, ASP, JSP, and PHP in a multi-browser, multi-OS, and multi-device environment.
  • Comply with best practices for “plain writing” when creating, organizing, and editing content.
  • Support web content administrators and quality assurance analysts as requested.
  • Prepare and edit technical documentation including:
    • User manuals, job aids, “Help,” What’s New, FAQs, policies, procedures, and guidance (print and web).
    • Organization charts, flow charts, brochures, newsletters, and information sheets (print and web).
  • Prepare multimedia training and guidance tutorials.
  • Support government and contract staff including web content analysts, developers, QA analysts, and managers.

Requirements

  • Experience with Section 508 / accessibility compliance.
  • Familiarity with web analytics and reporting (e.g., Google Analytics or similar tools).
  • Experience designing for government, enterprise, or regulated environments.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Ability to explain design and content decisions clearly to non-technical audiences.
  • Comfort working independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to obtain a US DOJ public trust clearance (US citizenship required).
