Web Designer

Job Description

This role is client-facing and requires a confident professional who can translate complex design decisions and the creative process into clear, confidence-building conversations. You will be responsible for building trust with clients and strategically incorporating their feedback.

Essential Functions

• Create compelling, polished, and responsive web designs that translate business goals and brand identity into intuitive user experiences.
• Create polished, high-fidelity web design mockups that prioritize accessibility and user-friendliness, while applying a strong grasp of visual hierarchy, interaction patterns, and conversion-oriented best practices.
• Translate brand identity and business goals into compelling, responsive web designs.
• Confidently present and advocate for strategic design decisions with clients, while thoughtfully incorporating their feedback to meet project goals without compromising design integrity or usability.

Minimum Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional design experience, with a focus on web design and direct client collaboration.
• A strong portfolio showcasing responsive web design and a deep understanding of core design principles.
• Expert-level proficiency in Figma.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to confidently articulate design decisions to clients and internal teams.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines while working independently.
• A collaborative team player with a proactive and strategic mindset.
• Familiarity with project management tools and workflows.

Bonus Points for Applicants

• Familiarity with animation tools (e.g., After Effects, Lottie, or similar).
• Experience with Webflow.
• A strong cross-disciplinary skillset (e.g., branding, illustration, motion design, print).
• Knowledge of the dental or healthcare industry (we work with lots of dentists!)
• Experience working with small businesses or in a fast-paced agency environment.
