About the role

We are seeking a talented Web Designer to join our dynamic team at Perrill. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our marketing and development teams to create engaging, user-centric websites that are optimized for conversions. Your primary focus will be on designing eCommerce and lead generation websites, blending traditional design principles with innovative AI-assisted tools. You will be responsible for developing visually compelling mockups, prototypes, and final designs that meet client needs and project objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in user-centered design, graphic layout, and responsive web design. This position reports directly to the Director of Development and offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects in a fast-paced, creative environment.

Responsibilities

• Design engaging, conversion-focused websites including eCommerce and lead generation platforms
• Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to present design concepts to stakeholders
• Collaborate with marketing, copywriting, and development teams to ensure cohesive project execution
• Utilize AI-assisted design tools to rapidly prototype and explore innovative design solutions
• Ensure all web designs are responsive, accessible, and aligned with best practices
• Optimize website designs for speed, performance, and user experience
• Participate in client meetings to gather requirements and present design proposals
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging tools, and AI capabilities to continuously improve design processes
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and quality standards

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in web design
• Proficiency in responsive design layout and adherence to web design best practices
• Background in graphic design, typography, and color theory
• Fluent in Figma and experienced with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD)
• Eagerness to learn and work with AI-driven design and prototyping tools such as Claude, Figma Buddy, Google Stitch, or similar
• Experience optimizing designs for web performance and user experience
• Strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design and graphic layout skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with copywriters and developers
• Working knowledge of CSS and HTML is desirable but not mandatory
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Curious, adaptable mindset, comfortable evolving workflows with emerging design tools and AI capabilities
