Web Design Adjunct

About the role

The Division of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences at Brightpoint Community College invites applications for the Web Design Adjunct position. This role is designed to provide online or traditional (on-campus) delivery instruction on either the Chester or Midlothian campus.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction on courses including Design for the Web I & II and Interactive Design I & II.
• Teach up to 12 credit hours per semester, with a limit of 8 credit hours in the summer semester.
• May be required to perform other duties as assigned.
• May assist the agency or state government in emergencies as directed by the Governor.

Requirements

• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in the discipline or related field plus two years of work experience in web design.
• Prior teaching experience at the postsecondary level.
• Ability to use instructional technologies.
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
